Hairy Chicken

I know this is rather disgusting. But I just felt the urge to share this because it is a horrific discovery.

It is a known fact that chicken bought from supermarkets tend to be hairy. The chicken that come in packets don't get proper cleansing, thus the hair still stays attached to the skin. For once or twice experiencing hairy chicken is fine, but constant experience of it tells you that those people working at the slaughter house must be half asleep doing their job.

You do wonder how they cleanse the chicken when you see this!

Which now makes me think... what is the slaughter house like? What kind of environment is it? How do they handle the packing?... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww!!!

Do you think the hair or feather is edible?

Check Omlet UK out. It's rather cool. I landed on this site whilst doing a general search on whether chicken hair is edible.
