Nesting Swans III




Today on the way to visit the Mudchute park and farm, the DDA & husband went pass the swans again to check. Due to a sunny outlook, the pen has decided to get up and stretch her legs. So we managed to sneak a few shots to share with you. Click on the images for an enlarged view.
From the above pictures you can see that these Swans are city birds that make do with whatever material they find around these docks to make nest. Stones and ropes are hardly nesting material you'd imagine birds would use, nevertheless nature finds its own ways to adapt.
