Saree Shopping
Over the weekend the DDA went Saree shopping. It requires certain skills to do Saree shopping.
You go up and down the highstreet that sells Asian clothing/textile to compare the materials on offer, and compare the price range. The DDA and her friend spent half a day on the shopping. Yes, you're tired even before you make your purchase!
To prepare the Saree or Shalwar Kameez:
That is just the start of the dressing up process. You'll then have to find matching bracelets, and jewellery to make the outfit whole.
What is this Saree shopping all about? An Asian (Indian/Muslim) wedding to attend in 3-4 weeks' time!

- Decide on the desired fabric and style Before making your purchase, locate a tailor to agree to make the blouse and get the fall of the saree sewn Find a matching slip that goes underneath the saree (you wear this like an under-skirt)
