Giant Slides
Carsten Höller has installed a series of slides at the Tate Modern. The previous visit to the gallery, the DDA and her friends arrived late, thus the free tickets had already run out. Yesterday, she and another friend from her previous workplace made it out to the gallery first thing in the morning to beat the slide queue. It all paid off very well to be in the queue before the doors opened at 10am.
Carsten Höller's slides are absolute great fun! There are four slides altogether - 2, 3, 4, and 5, installed at the corresponding levels at the gallery. Yes, the one numbered 5 is actually 5 storeys high and a lot of fun!!! The DDA highly recommends an experience of all of them. Best thing is they are FREE. It's definitely great for a family day out.
The DDA felt like a kid when going down the slides. Why not eh? When you can scream all you like and nobody would care because it is supposed to be fun. Hee hee...
Well, Christmas is looming nearer, and Santa's workshop has been pretty busy indeed. The DDA has completed her production of a 2nd scarf, now she's on to a 3rd (see below image).

And at home the countdown has also commenced.
