Misty Christmas
The weather has been a mess in London whilst it is a mess in the shops as we count down to Christmas this year. London was covered with a thick thick mist last night as the temperature dropped.
This morning it looked better than forecasted yesterday. The temperature has gone up a little, but visibility is still not that great.
To avoid the Christmas shopping madness, DDA's household started Christmas groceries shopping on Thursday, and another lot of Chinese groceries on Friday. The fridge is now fully packed, very very tightly occupied. Thanks to DDA's sister, the fridge's space organisation is under good control.
Christmas is one day away!!! To all of DDA's friends and family, 'Merry Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!'.

Company Chirstmas Party
It was the office Christmas Party on Wednesday evening. The party theme was "The 80s".
The party started with some Greek Ouzo in the office after office hours. Then it was dressing up fun. The office toilets were packed full with strange looking human bodies. Then it was the hike up to the party venue in all the glorious outfit.
The boss lady got a tip off to arrive early at the party venue to beat the cloakroom queue. But the group were too efficient that we arrived a little too early, so we headed to a nearby bar for cocktails, yes, in our fancy outfits of course!
And you can imagine by the time we got ourselves to the party, we have consumed past 2 cocktails at least, and the party seem much exciting indeed! More cocktails at the party offered... oh yes, thank you! can we have more???
Here's a glimpse of the DDA's full outfit. It doesn't look quite 80s, apart from the leggings...

Giant Slides
Carsten Höller has installed a series of slides at the Tate Modern. The previous visit to the gallery, the DDA and her friends arrived late, thus the free tickets had already run out. Yesterday, she and another friend from her previous workplace made it out to the gallery first thing in the morning to beat the slide queue. It all paid off very well to be in the queue before the doors opened at 10am.
Carsten Höller's slides are absolute great fun! There are four slides altogether - 2, 3, 4, and 5, installed at the corresponding levels at the gallery. Yes, the one numbered 5 is actually 5 storeys high and a lot of fun!!! The DDA highly recommends an experience of all of them. Best thing is they are FREE. It's definitely great for a family day out.
The DDA felt like a kid when going down the slides. Why not eh? When you can scream all you like and nobody would care because it is supposed to be fun. Hee hee...
Well, Christmas is looming nearer, and Santa's workshop has been pretty busy indeed. The DDA has completed her production of a 2nd scarf, now she's on to a 3rd (see below image).

And at home the countdown has also commenced.

Addiction
Have you ever thought that addiction can be as simple as a song? The DDA certainly can.
She is into her 11th week of Finnish lessons and finding it pretty rough. But she gets really excited about the learning of the language. To add to the book and classes, the Finn's found an interesting Finnish song recently. This is an absolutely juvenille-ish song where you can pick up each and every word. What's more, it is a song about Christmas! Just perfect for the upcoming occassion.
So now the DDA is hooked on this song about PIG, or perhaps Christmas Pig to be much appropriate. Check it out, it is simply cute.
