Birthday in 3 Cities

The DDA has been so busy the past few weeks, both at work and in the home front. All without forgetting about taking a break from the usual routine. Where'd she disappear to? She'd been home to Penang, Malaysia!

This trip home to Penang, the DDA met up with 3 new babies, all her cousin's babies. They are pretty NEW babies, the oldest amongst the three was 6months old when they met. Here are the baby pictures:

It's like baby boom currently back home. Everyone around the DDA's family and friends' circle are busy having babies, and grandchildren... everywhere she turns, things are buzzing BABIES! It is truthfully scary.

Apart from catching up with family and friends, the DDA went home with a big mission - to organise & get things kick-started for a traditional wedding this December. The trip has brought pretty fruitful results to the event organisation. Things are pretty much in place now. It is just a matter of counting down to the big day. Rather daunting thought if you think in much detail...

The DDA has met up with the Hotel's banquet organiser. Coordinated the banquet outfit hire that comes with a studio photography package. Hired an event photographer the Finn and she both really like. Hired a band. Picked a unique Baba & Nyonya styled fabric for a tailored traditional outfit. Here is a snap shot of the fabric:

So it is the month of June, and is time for the DDA to celebrate yet another birthday. She spent that special day with as many family and friends as she could gather.

Morning - breakfast with parents in Penang, Malaysia
Noon - lunch with ex-colleagues/friends in Hong Kong during transit

Evening - touched down London and headed home to spend time with sister & the Finn

At the end of all this buzz in Penang, the DDA comes back to London, and she finds herself rather exhausted from it all. How strange that a holiday can be so busy and tiring. She needs another holiday now!
